Splash Page Comics opened on August 4,1986. We began as a local comic shop servicing Kirksville,Mo and the surronding area. In late 1988 we branched into a mail order toy division and have been growing since. Two years later we opened our fine arts division which handles our original animation cels, original art and trading card art. As time has progressed we have also very enthuastically gotten into anything to do with Japan.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept American Express, Discover, Master Card, Visa, Money Orders and Pay Pal.

Credit card and Pay Pal orders usually ship within 24 hours of their placement. Money orders ship as soon as they arrive. EFFECTIVE February 4th, 2006 we no longer except checks. NO EXCEPTIONS!

How do I know I am not being taken when I place an order with you?

There is never anyway to put someones fears completely to rest. What I can tell you is that Splash Page Comics has been open since 1986 and has yet to run into a problem that could not be resolved. We also have received the "Toy Shop Customer Service Award" for 8 years in a row.

If you feel there is a problem, contact us as quickly as possible and we will help you resolve whatever the situation may be.

I placed an order with a company for $25.00 and they charged me a $5.00 service charge because it was under $50.00! Do you do anything like that?

NO! Yet again a resounding NO! Would this store charge you a $5.00 fee if you spent under $50.00 in their store? Somehow I doubt it! If you want to order a $2.00 item from us, that is fine with us. Just because shipping would be more than the item is your own question to figure out. *smile*

What about if I want to return something?

If there is any problem with your order you must call us immediately upon receipt of the shipment and let us know. If the item is damaged due to shipper error (if there is visible damage to the outside of the box), an insurance claim will have to be filed with whatever carrier was used.

If you receive an incorrect item we will have you ship them item back to us and when we ship you the correct item we will also issue you a refund for the shipping cost of sending it back to us.

On items that are defective, please contact us before you do anything as each manufacturer's policy is different.

Items that are not defective must be returned within 7 days of your receiving the items. Returned items must be unopened and in original condition. There will be a 15% restocking fee for any returned item (excluding defective merchandise). The customer will also be responsible for any and all costs of mailing the returned items. Once the return is received, a store credit will be issued for the merchandise only, no refund can be given on the original shipping cost. When placing your next order just make a note in the comments area of your store credit, or mention it if you choose to call in your order.
